Volante Nómada – Lda provides guided tours, island tours, walking tours, hiking experiences, and private transport services across Madeira Island. All services are subject to availability and may vary depending on weather conditions, safety requirements, or operational constraints.
3. Bookings and Online Payments
All bookings can be made online through our website. To confirm a booking, full or partial payment may be required at the time of reservation.
Online payments are securely processed via the Stripe payment gateway. Volante Nómada – Lda does not store or have access to your full payment card details.
By completing a booking, you confirm that:
You are authorised to use the selected payment method
All information provided is accurate and complete
You agree to these Terms and Conditions
A booking is only considered confirmed once payment is successfully processed and a confirmation is sent by email.
4. Prices and Inclusions
All prices displayed on the website are in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Prices may include:
Professional guide or driver-guide
Transport in licensed vehicles
Activities as described in each tour
Items not explicitly stated as included are excluded.
Volante Nómada – Lda reserves the right to adjust prices due to fuel costs, supplier changes, or regulatory requirements. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by price changes.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the tour or service booked. Specific cancellation policies will be clearly stated on the respective tour page at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time may be eligible for a refund
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time may not be refunded
No-shows are non-refundable
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed via the original payment method used through Stripe.
6. Changes and Modifications
Volante Nómada – Lda reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, or services due to:
Weather conditions
Safety considerations
Road closures or force majeure events
Such changes do not entitle the client to compensation, provided the overall experience and value of the service are maintained.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
Arrive at the agreed meeting point on time
Follow guide instructions at all times
Inform us in advance of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or special requirements
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, especially for Hiking Madeira experiences
Volante Nómada – Lda reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behaviour may endanger themselves, other clients, or staff.
8. Health, Safety, and Liability
Participation in tours and walks involves inherent risks, especially in outdoor and hiking activities.
Volante Nómada – Lda is not responsible for:
Accidents caused by failure to follow instructions
Loss or damage of personal belongings
Delays or disruptions beyond our control
Clients participate at their own risk and are strongly advised to have adequate travel and personal insurance.
9. Force Majeure
Volante Nómada – Lda shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or extreme weather conditions.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on madeiratourswalks.com, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Volante Nómada – Lda and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.
11. Data Protection
Personal data collected during bookings or website use is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
